Nick Matthew has been crowned British National Champion for the second time in his career, overcoming a strong challenge from opposing finalist Adrian Grant to win in straight sets. Matthew progressed through the competition, beating the British number two and his closest rival to secure his place in the final.

The 28-year-old currently ranks 9th in the Professional Squash Association (PSA) Men’s World Rankings, and uses the new Dunlop Aerogel 4D Evolution 120 racket. A signature series frame, it is available as part of the new 2009 Dunlop squash range. This racket is engineered with Aerogel technology and 4D braiding, to deliver a perfect balance of power and control for unsurpassed playability. The Evo 120 also has a raw frame weight of 120g making it the lightest racket ever produced by Dunlop.

Matthew has recently signed a four year endorsement deal with Dunlop, and is joined by other Dunlop ambassadors Amr Shabana, Gregory Gaultier, and Ong Beng Hee. All of these players endorse the new Dunlop Aerogel 4D technology.
