As a junior Gaultier won two European titles, a British Junior Open crown and a berth in the world individual final so was destined to become a star in the adult game. In 2007 Gaultier won the British Open after defeating Amr Shabana in the semis and then compatriot Lincou in the final to reach number 2 in the world.
In June 2008 Gregory extended his fantastic European record by winning the individual championship for the 5th year in a row.
Gaultier has shown impressive form throughout 2009 and is currently ranked as World No.4.
