What is D Squad?
Dunlop’s D squad programme is a global scheme that aims to attract the top junior tennis players worldwide, and identify talent for future international player sponsorships with the Dunlop brand.
Dunlop’s D Squad programme provides a global grassroots initiative to encourage racket usage amongst junior tennis players worldwide. The programme identifies and monitors future potential players for international sponsorship, at the same time as increasing awareness of and contact with the Dunlop Brand.
The D Squad initiative hopes to add to the elite group of talented tennis players already on board with Dunlop, some of whom are already playing at a professional level. Current D Squad members include top level players such as James Blake, Tommy Robredo, Tommy Haas and Tomas Berdych as well as Nicolas Almagro and Jamie Murray.
These players all currently use the new range of Aerogel™ rackets.
The programme offers premium packages to the top 10 juniors from each age group in each of the international regions; Under 12’s, Under 14’s, and Under 16’s - both boys and girls which include Dunlop Aerogel™ Rackets, racket bags, strings and grips. Gold and silver packs are also available to players lower down the rankings. Packs are due to be allocated to over 24 countries worldwide, for the scheme to include USA, Continental Europe, Asia and the Far East.
